Our researchers can get all the necessary information about any story: whether it deals with current affairs, recent history or archaeological excavations in Israel. We provide visual research services for many documentary films, in addition to researching and finding locations. Our experience enables us to suggest locations and interviews with local experts. Our researchers and coordinators are among the best in Israel. They all have a lot of experience with international productions and are fluent in several languages. We also provide research and location services for corporate and commercial videos. We are also developing, researching and producing our own films. Therefore we know how to retrieve the required information within pressing deadlines. The Internet is a great source for planning a production; however the local researcher who can visit places and ask the right questions is invaluable. That way we can deliver accurate information before spending unnecessary funds.
Local creative collaboration
We have a lot of experience with creative collaboration with visiting scriptwriters, screenwriters, DoP’s, directors and production designers. We provide all local creative work by our professionals in Israel and Palestine. Often we have department heads traveling to Israel, where they team up with local professionals.
Production Coordination
The coordinator, or fixer, is our front person in the production and has the abilities to handle all location-related issues. Our coordinators are production managers and line producers, very experienced in historical, religious or current affairs productions.
Visual Research
We have regular working relations with the leading archives in Israel for photos, film and other visual sources. We can track and clear any historical footage in Israel, and locate new historical footage from private archives.
The Highlight Films team includes both Israeli and Palestinian researchers and coordinators, who are all fluent in many languages.
