We are often asked: how would you describe the landscape of Israel? Well, Israel boasts a rich variety of landscapes over a relatively small area. Landscape photography in Israel is one of our most loved fields of expertise.
The Galilee mountains in northern Israel offer forests, wooded parks, plenty of streams, waterfalls and ponds. Many of these are full of water in the winter months – December – March. The Sea of Galilee is a unique area of its own, and it is much warmer than in the mountains.
The Mediterranean coasts are fairly accessible for filming all year long. After traveling a few miles eastward, the landscape gradually turns steeper. The Negev desert in southern Israel is a “real” dessert, while the Judea desert in eastern Israel presents a unique natural phenomenon with amazing views. In the last years we took part in many nature and wildlife productions. Among them is National Geographic’s Hostile Planet, premiering worldwide on May 2019.
But first and foremost, Israel is the land of the Bible. And there are many Biblical landscapes to choose from, in all parts of the country.
Tel Aviv, on the other hand, is as modern as it gets, vibrant and lively.
